The Office of the CIO (Chief Information Officer) is one of the central drivers of digital transformation at Oregon State University, encompassing the university's central IT organization and developing the strategy for all of OSU IT.
This strategy ensures that Oregon State University's information and technology practices align with the university's mission and goals, in support of teaching, learning, research, extension, and outreach.

There are three main branches of the Office of the CIO that oversee the university's centralized IT efforts and initiatives.
University Information & Technology
University Information & Technology is OSU's central IT department and houses its six architectures: Business, Data & Information, Digital Extension & Inclusion, Enterprise, Security, and Technical & Solutions.
Advanced Research Computing Services
Advanced Research Computing Services (formerly Digital Research Infrastructure) oversees information technology across OSU's research space in support of the university's land, sea, sun, and space grants.
Administrative Modernization Program
AMP is a group of initiatives and projects bringing digital and organizational transformation to Oregon State University.
